Who we are
This notice explains what happens to personal information you share with us through this website.
Bells & Whistles PR Limited is the data controller for that information. We’re registered in England and Wales, company number 09941152, and our registered office is Squareworks, 17–18 Berkeley Square, Bristol, BS8 1HB.
If you have any questions about this notice or your information, email christabel@bellsandwhistlespr.com.
What we collect
We only collect what you choose to send us, plus the basics any website needs to work:
- Contact form: your name, email address and message.
- Email: if you email us directly, your email address, name and anything in your message.
- Technical information: like most websites, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested) to keep the site running and secure.
We don’t use analytics, advertising or tracking tools, and we don’t build profiles of visitors.
Why we use it
We use your details to read and reply to your enquiry, and, if we go on to work together, to manage that relationship.
Our lawful basis is our legitimate interests in responding to people who get in touch, or, where you’re asking about our services, taking steps at your request before entering into a contract. We won’t add you to a mailing list or send you marketing.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for up to two years after our last contact, then delete them. If you become a client, we keep the records we need to run the work and meet our legal and accounting obligations, usually six years after the work ends.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you
- ask us to correct it if it’s wrong
- ask us to delete it
- object to, or ask us to restrict, how we use it
To do any of these, email christabel@bellsandwhistlespr.com. We’ll reply within one month.
If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.
